Calliope

I recorded two different patches in VCV Rack; one for the background and one for stretching in Paulstretch. In Paulstretch, I created two stretch renders; one with harmonics and one without. I then took all of the rendered audio files into Audacity, where I adjusted the audio volume and split the stereo tracks into mono tracks.

I took all the audio tracks into Reason, where I panned the split tracks hard right and left. I then sent the tracks to separate mix buses.

I also created an instance of Kontakt with a prepared piano instrument. I then controlled the MIDI input with 2 Note Echo players, and CV control coming from a Pulsar. For channel Insert FX, I used a Spectre, 2 LeSpaces and a RV 7000 mk2.

After equalizing and setting level automation, I rendered out the song to WAV. For the Master FX, I used a Saturation Knob, 2 Audiomatics, a MClass Equalizer, a MClass Compressor, a MClass Stereo Imager and an Ozone.

Excellent ambiance, great music to get lost in thought to. The textures compliment each other very well and create a nice open, enveloping sound that I really enjoyed.

Thanks for the feedback, Pyure!
