i wrote this specifically for a live set i performed last night at Sequential Circus, an ongoing local electronic music show. the show typically features Live PA electronic acts, but it's pretty safe to say that most people there had no concept of chipmusic beyond the usual stereotypes - so i wanted to start my set off with something that concisely demonstrated both the limitations and the possibilities of the game boy's audio capabilities. i started this tune the evening before the show, so it's a little messy in places but it overall it basically did the trick!
