Modern Life

By brian botkiller on May 3, 2026 11:48 pm

I got hit by another car while driving this past Wednesday, which was, needless to say, one of the most surreal things that has ever happened to me (having never been in a car accident before). Luckily everyone involved was ok, as it wasn't a major accident. But it made me think even more about how the only thing that really matters in this life is that you have it, that you can live it, and that you're able to. I sat down to make a song today not really knowing what I wanted, and ended up with a Underworld-esque nine minute techno banger. It's got some random human error in it, and in this age of perfection, AI, and all this other bullshit -- the things that are making up modern life right now -- I think that shit actually matters.

Anyway, thanks as always for listening.

Squelchy toxic barrel bass. This track feels like it is forever building.

These warm chords at 3.50 come in surprisingly and they are just absolutely perfect. The length of your track is just right. Timewise your track represents roughly 30 tiktok reels... A track with this length is a statement these days, I love it. Time expands and contracts with this type of music. Am now on my 2nd listen with your track! On another note, pls take care and seek help if you feel you need it.

This, too, is an experience, but definitely a better one
