Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

My first song I've written since moving to LA last week, and I really like it. Very indicative of where my life is at -- chilled out, progressing, hopeful.
Composed this with minimal tools in Ableton as my studio is still a little bit of everywhere from moving. Very happy with it.

love the glitchy, ratchet-yness. it's really riding the line back and forth like oh shit, the drummer's lost it, and then back over and over. that contrasted with the bass and the lead is so nice. when they sort of come back together around the 3 minute mark it's absolutely beautiful. also love the choice to bring those out and keep the pretty bits out into the end.
