Outerhold - Seabed Slumber (arr. botanicus)

I visited this friend (Outerhold) about a year ago and heard his music for the first time. His songs blew me away and are in a similar style I have been listening to... This semi-ambient cinematic/ecstatic style (sometimes a little video-gamey) is really interesting.

The original composition and the foundational layers were written by Outerhold. He sent me the stems.... I didnt work on it for about a year. I picked it up this week with ferocious energy, recorded a bunch of additional instruments and transitions, improved the structure, and improved the mix. Now here we are.

I played: ukulele, marimba, darbuka, drumset, rainstick, caxixi, shakers, mouth sounds, triangle.

I am pretty stoked with how my darbuka and drumset are sounding in my new live room. It feels like I can get them to fit cohesively into any mix.

Great composition! Definitely got some Emancipator vibes at one point.

Wow, yea, as Ranjit said. Great composition.
I was swept away by the story and all the elements coming together.

This truly is a gem.

ooh what a vibe! love the chord progression & great use of all the little ostinatos in the pitched percussion instruments.

Beautiful. Quality recordings, the sound capture and mix is very nice.

There are more and more acoustic drummers that capture their drumset on this platform which is super nice!

This is amazing. Super clean, chill, and fun.

This is pretty relaxing, keep at it.
