I've fallen into the rabbit hole that is VCV Rack. I've been intrigued many years ago but I had close to no synthesis experience so it was a bit too intimidating, therefore I didn't go too far. Many years (of getting hands dirty with synthesis) later it finally clicked, and jumping into it bearing this knowledge, I feel very spoiled with the granularity of things that could be achieved (like endless amount of LFOs, interesting sequencing approached based on functions and plenty of randomization) and I don't even have to spend a fortune on physical modular gear! So this week's entry will be an ambient piece made and performed (using a midi controller) in VCV Rack.
