W37: Droneuge

I was watching videos of Sonicware Liven Ambient 0, and loved the idea of a dedicated ambient drone machine (previously I was eyeing Stylophone's new drone synth, but I think Ambient 0 is much more usable as a single box without relying on external sequencing etc). As usual with Sonicware gear, it sits at a very "friendly" pricepoint, but it's not available to order yet, so I thought I could do most (if not all) of what that device can do with my Deluge. I was just a bit afraid to dive that deep into Deluge, especially with the extent of its capabilities after the community firmware. Anyways, I had to start somewhere and weeklybeats was the best excuse for me to "force myself" into regain my muscle memory and explore sections of Deluge I did not before (wavetable synthesis). I know I can go much deeper (and I will) but still, I'm amazed by what I can achieve in an hour or so (which is usually half of what I can spare from my week for the weeklybeats) with this little box of wonders. I don't really know if I'll buy an Ambient 0 still, perhaps I will because I imagine the "workflow" to be much simpler (even though Sonicware gear usually come with some unorthodox design decisions), but I'll sleep peacefully tonight knowing I can comfortably create drones and tastily random arpeggios using my Deluge.

Direct recording out of Deluge, with subtle levelling in Sound Studio afterwards (too lazy to open Ableton Live, or learn how can I resample/record my performance within the box with Deluge, but I'll definitely investigate).
