Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

This is WAY better! The original definitely sounds like a chill beat loop, but this sounds like a proper song. The chord and key samples add some much needed variety and compliment the preexisting bassline (which is dope)
The drum variations mix it up nicely. This is really good! Proud of you for pushing yourself to improve! Encourages me to do the same.
Something's a little lost in the excesses of the hat hits. There's a good dub hidden in here.
Yeah, it sounds a lot better from the moment first chords drive in. If I was to change something here, it would definitely be lowering the volume of this clave-snare a bit, shortening the loops twice or more and trying to implement more dynamics changes. Hope my words mean something. Anyway I'm glad to hear remixing was worth it
