Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

What can I say, what can I say... I've haven't been spending as much time on mastering as mixing and I think it helps. Instead of processing the life out of a signal I just turn it up or down. Slap an EQ and a Comp on the bass/drums and master bus. Tweak and call it good. It seems to sound alot better. Still, much to learn and a loooong way to go. Enjoy!

Super nice bass on this--both in sound and the part itself. There's also a satisfying crunch in the high midrange. 808 drums, it sounds like--kick and snare are always satisfying; clave/hat/clap I waffle on. (Obviously that's a total personal choice!) The vocal part in the break is a nice surprise. Well done!
