Hilda Mining Corp Recreational Zone B Slam Pit

By bobbyd on February 15, 2026 9:14 pm

This is what they're listening to in the Slam Pit.

Made a weird noise, turned it into this, ran out of tracks, quick rendered stuff down, ran out of tracks again, tried to bring it to some kind of conclusion, bon appetit!

very cool sound design! also, the title fits the song perfectly in my head

Thanks! Yeah I imagined miners blowing off steam on their limited rec time going crazy in the pit smile Everyone's having a great time. It's dirty work, but they're all in it together and the time they spend on the pit gives them the release they need!

^^ Oh that’s fun and meshes with the track perfect, now I have an animated version of miners doing all types of silly things while the song plays, then going right back to straight face hard workers like nothing happened when the song ends!!! 😂

Slamming it! What an absolute banger!
Was wondering where the kick went, but turns out it's a Youtube exclusive wink

Yeah I thought it was cheating to ask for a link to replace my track with a mix I did after the deadline on Sunday smile

Ha, this is absolutely wild, the mix with the kick is hard as hell. Love the high-pitched "yoop!" sound from 1.25 onwards, and the frenzied chiptune energy with the arp at 1.52. Brilliant title too.

Hilda Corp: WORK HARD, PLAY HARD

finally circled back to listen. this goes so hard!
i'm glad you embedded the yt version, it was cool to hear the changes you made.
it's tough to turn something around so quickly without having the time to have some distance from a mix and come back with fresh perspective. it's def something about WB that sharpens our skills. anyway, nice work here.
cheers!

Super tight sounding.  Everything locks in nicely and it's got a bit of an old school vibe with the tones involved.

Thanks! Yeah the YouTube mix is the one to listen to.
