quickly, there's no time

By BMTS on January 12, 2014 4:57 pm

This track came out as a short and simple and slow paced kind of tense thing. Like the process to try to make it.
Had various ideas during the week, normally at very inappropriate times, so I didn't have the opportunity to write them down or program them in Renoise later. As a think of it now, maybe I should find a way to write things down when I think of them... Any tips on how you do it?

Quickly, I have to make a track for Weekly Beats but there's no time! Said Liam Neeson, never. tongue

I use caustic on my phone as my scratchpad. can export midi from there into proper synthersizers.

also loving your 303ish sounds in this. very pyramidmusic.

Using Caustic is a pretty good idea, too bad my phone is too slow to run it. Maybe if I update someday. My only problem with that option is that sometimes the ideas are not melodies, or drum patterns, but ways to do a transition or an intro. Do you ever record yourself doing this kinds of things? Could it work? Maybe recording/writing a description of the idea could work...

Thanks for your tip! smile

nice. digging the vibe. totally on the edge of my seat smile
