Week 20!

I decided early on that I wanted to do a rap track sometime this year. The idea popped in my head when I was thinking about being 20 weeks in to this adventure, and so I went with it. I spent about 3 minutes making the beat, and the rest of the time on lyrics and recording.

God damn this is amazing. "No, a grande isn't what I meant-ey " is such a good line. Your hip hop voice is fucking dope too, all sultry and shit.

Wow I wasn't expecting that! Super entertaining. That beat is a banger for sure. Love the lyrics, they cracked me up! This was super entertaining

ahhahah great song!! easy to understand rapping even with some crazy pronunciation jokes, good mix and the doubled parts are great! and the spoken intro and outro are so funny big_smile I can just imagine this regular dude having enough one day and just going on a rant about his coffee surrounded by some confused subway passengers

Hahahaha the theme is fantastic, and the execution is awesome. I get a Weird Al Yankovic vibe from the lyrics.

This is funny and awesome at the same time.  The whats and yeahs in the chorus are a nice touch.

Needs only one thing
A hype man

Love the shot sound fx right after espresso shot! Text is so NOT gangster that it is awesome.

me: "not really up for listening to tracks today"

blighters: "Went way outside my usual genre with some Blighter's Rap this week"

Glad you found it easy to understand! There were some parts that I had to practice quite a few times to get them there. Thanks!

Thanks much! That is high praise for anyone trying to do musicomedy. Another big inspiration to me in this genre is The Lonely Island.

Sometimes, in life and in music, you gotta be your own hype man.

Yes, that shot was one of my favorite parts! As soon as I thought of "espresso shot" as a potential lyric, the heavens parted and God said to me "don't forget to use a gunshot sound effect".
