Somethings

Thanks for all the comments so far, everyone. I'm always open to constructive criticism and ideas about what could be improved.

Usually I rerecord final takes after getting the song structure fleshed out, but on this one I couldn't muster the motivation, so there are some rough cuts.

I LOVE THE BACK VOCALS!!!

Nice man. I like the organ sound mixed in there.

The backing vocals are great but I really like how sounds the drums. That ‘live’ vibe is great!

Nice one.  Really like the guitar line that comes in after the verses.

Nice. Didn’t know you had an acoustic in there. Like how the bass slowly slides around the chords

I usually never puts reverbs on my kick drums, this track just tell me I should, kicks sounds massive.

I really like the mix overall.

Man I love how you've done your instrumentation from the bass, to the guitar, to the drums. Such a great track. Keep up the great work smile

Ooo, this is kind of different for you, particularly writing a song as such a slow tempo (I think?). I like the use of the organ for the atmosphere and the panned guitar melodies. The vocal harmonies are very nice as well, and the drums sound great. I love a nice boomy and roomy kit sound.

Nice work with the harmonising, agree that's a pretty massive kick sound

Cool melody, this track catches a nice bittersweet vibe that the synths and twinkling lead guitar def add to!

Great vocals, harmonies and organ!

I think the tone/sound of the guitar is, again, awesome. And used well. Is it an acoustic, or did you do some magic with an electric? Previous feedback here confirms that the harmonies are great, and the organ does a good job at building the overall sound as it goes. While the drums seem somewhat archaic, it fits this song very well. I also agree that the pace is much slower than most of the stuff I've heard from you, but it's a good temporary change of pace. It didn't let me underline 'temporary'. Excellent job! smile

Love the organ tying everything together!

awesome job dude! glad to hear your back!

This is beautiful music and the singing is touching too. Bravo!!!

Regret-laden slow-dance with devastating lyrics and beautiful vocal harmonies = cool

Thanks! This was the idea that started this track. Wrote it, then found the chords to match it.

Yes, this one really pained me because it was so far out of my comfort zone. Glad you enjoyed.

Thanks! I didn't think when I made this that the kick would get so many comments

Mic'd acoustic guitar. Thanks for the comments. Yeah, this was a step outside of my wheelhouse. Whatever that means wink But yeah, I will be back at 180 bpm next week, worry not.

This a good song! Sounds great for rough cuts. Has a nice quality to it that compliments the mood of the lyrics and tone of the vocals really well. I also like the organ chords in the background during the verse, that's a nice touch. I like the bass guitar during the break at the end. Great work!

Some moments are painful, this song is something beautiful though.

your production and performance is just TOO GOOD this is all A.I. right?

....right?????????

I'm feeling this a lot. Well done song. The vocals sound excellent together too.

Awesome song, getting big time Dawes vibes from this. Loving the vocal harmonies too.
