The Creation Myth

By Bleeoop on January 18, 2026 4:18 pm

Trying to make my tracks more open, give the sound more air, it's not easy, I always seem to gravitate towards more dense, low range tones.

Funny you mentioned the low range tones - one of my first thoughts was how this track was low and substantial, but also practically shimmers - which would typically be in conflict

Guitar switch up in the middle is fantastic.

Really like the density this track has, but how it also feels airy and light. Amazing constrast and epic atmosphere.

I'll be back. Getting my swimsuit to do some laps in this. It is deep.

So calming and relaxing. Thank you for this amazing music

thanks a lot! It's strange but when I'm working on the single sounds like tweaking the synth patches and fx chains I always think oh this is too bright I want it darker but then when I'm mixing it I am always pushing the highs and carving out the lows, need to just keep that in mind

Your Bleeoop stuff is always well balanced when it comes to frequency. It always sounds dense and vaguely "lofi" in spirit, though it DOES have a defined high end. Maybe it is your perception, or your monitors... Whatever your method is, you keep hitting the target, in my book.

Nice drone and atmosphere, BTW. Sounds vaguely like the best UFO documentary I kinda remember watching as a kid but never found online ever again? Was it real? Or a product of my own childish imagination?

Lovely! I love how the track evolves. Nothing feels forced.

Very nice. This is super up my alley. I'm a huge OPN/Tim Hecker fan, and this gives me some of that feeling.

I often get the visual impression of being lost in dense fogs from your tracks.  But they're always very beautiful fogs to be immersed in.  There's just something mysterious and vaporous going on.  The low end here adds a heaviness and weight, but a lot of the textures do sound wispy and airy to me, which is maybe what gives me a feeling of clouds or mist.  Regardless it sounds great.

just gorgeous.
your mixes always feel really balanced and dynamic to me. I'm pulled into the world right when i click play heart

great buildup and layers. the name is spot on.

aaaah thanks man! I swear I didn't mean for it to happen, not sure how this keeps happening, I'm using the plugins wrong lol !

I almost didn't post that comment because I wanted to make sure it was intentional because something about it seemed so surprising!

I mean, you are no stranger to external noise and malfunction in your work, but you have a "style" on how you "mess up on purpose"

LOL

we are so funny smile
