Worked all week on a track but wasn't feeling it, kept doubling down and adding parts, tweaking stuff but it still didn't feel good, so just kept a couple of stems and done another track on sunday. It's a little ambient sketch but feels more complete to me.

I like when the noise starts shuddering into a train steam kind of rhythm!
22-30 second mark is my favorite part. That introduction to the bass followed by the rising keys is so nice. I also like that sweeping synth at 1:31 or so.
Space opens up, first softly, but then we enter lightspeed.the stars turn to streaks of light. And then we pause. We have landed on a desert planet with three moons. The sand blows up into a storm. The spaceship gets covered in the sand.But surprisingly, there's an underground cavern with fresh water under the desert. We will survive.

ahaha thanks, the train sound comes from fucking a bit too much with the reverb

thank you, that part at 30 seconds in is my favorite as well, I was rearranging the bits around on the timeline and landed on that and it sounded good and made me think I had a bit of a track down!

It feels like more than a sketch for sure. There's a whole sound world here to explore and it really builds and takes us to some different places. Journeys to other planets are definitely not out of the question.
