Thank you, you're too kind! Actually the arrival trailer has some cool but super generic big movie trailer music, but the movie score is amazing. There's an interview with Johan Johannsson where he goes in detail into the techniques he used on writing it and it has been an inspiration, I actually borrowed one tip heavily and used it multiple times in these tracks, in this one as well.

it's basically recording loops and stuff on tape machines and playing it back at low speed. i don't have a reel to reel but I did a bit of it with cassette tape or even in the daw.
