Summer is back in Arizona. So are the bugs.

I hate bugs.

Sounds used are Cicadas that I pitched and slowed, and swarms of flies. The voice over sample is from a 1950's or 1960s documentary about bugs. Everything else is Kontakt and Massive.

lol, "Not the bees! Not the bees!". I hate all the bugs this time of year. I hate the tarantula hawk wasps the most. I came home one time and while I was unlocking the door this hawk wasps rose up from behind our flower pot that is like 3 feet away from the door and I was panicing like mad trying to rush into the house.

Anyways, this tune does a good job of capturing that anxiety. Sounds very much like it belongs in the soundtrack for Phase IV.

I also do not like flying bugs. I'm totally okay with the creepy crawlers, because generally I can keep track of them. But bugs that can move freely in three dimensions and can sting you? UGH. The worst. I have tried to become more ok with being around bees, but wasps still freak me out. Very nice track! That high pitch drone in the background really helps bring up the anxiety level which I feel is highly appropriate for this track. Nice work!

Very nice, the voice over was a perfect fit for the track and pitch shifting the insect noises was an excellent call.

Your tags man...perfect.

Apparently this year is going to be brutal with the Cicadas. Rare Double Emergence Of Broods XIII And XIX Across U.S. State. Prepare for LOUD NOISES!!! Awesome tune!

yikes

not into a lot of bugs, but i am excited about the cicadas. at least until they show up on EVERY recording i make this summer lol
this was a cool listen, nice mixing!

Such a great texture... feels like it would be perfect for a Zombie horror game, when you discover a "seemingly" abandoned and ransacked building... just before you meet whatever you're going to spend the rest of the game trying to kill.

Thanks man! I used that high pitched noise to try an capture how it feels to watch a stinging bug fly around while you quietly panic, so im glad it worked!
