Sleeping Light Grove

This was thrown together pretty last minute which leads to the repetition. That said, I like this one. Might turn it in to a full song.

Reason, Guitar, 140 BPM.

I've been using an EHX Vocoder pedal for 5+ years now but decided to try the Reason vocoder. It's fun but I haven't quite tamed it yet. It's all over in the mix TBH. However I think I might be able to suss some real fun sounds out of it.

wake and stretch
grab our bags
check the map
this is it

they disappeared
just last week
traveling through worlds
where are you

we won't go home
until we find where our best friend has gone

i heard their voice
in the Sleeping Light Grove
light your lantern
i've got my sword

Nice buddy!I think the chorus is the standout part of this song (as a chorus should be). I think if you played a bit with the rhythm of the lyrics in the verses this could really be a great track smile

I really like the chorus part, could listen to just that on repeat. smile

Very nice, really like the guitar.

p.s. do you think you could use different m4a settings next time? My browser has issues with it. There's a whole thread about it.

Noted! The verse was thrown together the quickest, so this makes sense.

Noted! It's easy enough for me to switch over to mp3 if that would work.

Yea, that'll work.

Love the contrast of the heavy guitar and vocoder. Great heavy heavy sound! I want to hear the guitars louder and wider in the next mix. Very cool!
