Talisman of Vaul

Some more synthwave this week. I tried to think of more to say but my brain is cooked this week.

Happy week 17!

Happy Week 17 to you too! Love those slick slides and rhythmic stutters. big_smile

Such a different vibe every single week from you. Killin' it as always, Plongsta.

That synth at around 1:30 with the slide and gate is INSANE. So nice.

the brain must not be thoroughly cooked, because I'm REALLY digging this. that intro was so sick. the stuttering synth at around 1:30 is GREAT! and that fat ass saw at 3:20, DAMN so good!!! bad ass, dude.

This was killer, dude. Some really sick sound design here!

Love the synthwave feels from the slick drum groove to the wailing gritty synth lead. Feel ya on the brain cookery! Awesome work! \m/

Smooth as silk.
Big Abaddon chilling after destroying Cadia vibe big_smile

This hits some cool different moods during its runtime.  It felt floaty and upbeat at first and then that huge nasty synth came in giving it an almost evil feel (in an awesome way).  It feels like we end on a triumphant note, so I can almost see a narrative of good vs. evil in this.

you're another one of my "got to check this guy out" every week and you never disappoint. especially love what you did with the stuttery lead but the whole track is great. the arp around 3 mins or so reminds me of an old c64 game called lightforce  (at least from memory, I might have the titles confused). sound of the bass-y lead just after that is lovely as well.

You brought more heat, Plong. Head nods are being executed as I type this! I love the pitch bend accents. Nice switch up with the dirty reece-y bass section.

hell yes, wonderful work!

also did i hear a Careless Whisper nod there at the end??

Very cool track!

Thank you! It really does have a lot of moods going on.

Thank you! heart The last section was a last minute addition and I felt it really fleshed it out.

I didn't realize it until you pointed it out, but yes, it is very similar to that sax line. I've been writing in Bb and Eb specifically so I can someday include a sax.

hope that wasn't crappy to point out, def not explicit! it made me smile and i was just wondering if it was on purpose. i do that kind of thing all the time.
would LOVE to hear this with some sax at some point  smile
