piano is a live recording in Ableton running Pianoteq-5, all other sounds are generated on the M8 tracker (with the exception of the drums)

Cool! I love how the piano sound develops into weird stuff. The m8 is a lovely device big_smile Did you sample the piano directly with the m8 or had samples lying around?

Lovely as always! Piano+strings sounds great!

Beautiful song - melancholy feelings and expressive tones

very dig this crystalline piano playing.  Are the strings synthed or sampled? if it's the former then i'm down to trade notes!!

hey thanks! i wrote the first low register synth melody first, then came up with the piano and loaded the WAVs onto the SD card

pianoteq! the bomb big_smile I used to play it on version 2 and still have nostalgic feelings for it every time it comes up smile thanks for the insights into how you made it!

dang, that's quite a compliment coming from you

The piano sound is reaaaaally nice. Subtle and tasteful. I like the layers that are added then later into the track. Very nicely evocative.

Lovely Peaceful.

Wow, the sub bass hitting with the delicate piano is so beautiful!  Wow, this one is really emotional for me.  So great to have you here this year! heart

big facts!

(Did not know you were on WB, so I'm back-tracking through your catalog)

Gorgeous use of synths -- top-tier orchestration for electronics w/ piano: jaw on the floor. Particularly partial to the 1:51 section that shifts the piano into a purely accompanying role due to the twinkling nature of the synths.

so peaceful heart
