Another busy week. Little brother has been visiting for most of the week, and I've had a nagging cold which I finally succumbed to in the last couple of days. I also feel like I'm at the point into the year where this project is starting to feel more like work and less like pleasure. I guess it always happens when you do embark on a long term relationship with anything, really!

Tools used were Roland Gaia, Ableton Live with some various samples and stuff.

I know what you mean about work, but then there are moments of unexpected delight as well, when everything comes together. As in this piece. Well done.

It's quite pretty, well done.

This is my third time doing WeeklyBeats and I can attest there have been multiple points where it's felt like a chore or an unpleasant obligation, but if you keep fighting through those times, it usually starts to become fun again.  And it's always fun to re-visit your output later.  Even "off" weeks can yield some excellent results such as this.

Your encouragement certainly makes it easier. Thank you, all.

This is my fourth WB and although there are some moments I just want to watch some movie and go to bed, it will grow into you until you feel kinda missing something if you don't sit to make your track.

Anyway, this week's effort feels fantastic. Vaguely tropical and evocative, and very mellow...
