Thanks so much, appreciate it. It's been a while, I can't remember a lot of the details about the process, but I was definitely experimenting a lot with the Dreadbox Nymphes and Typhon desktop analog synth modules, creating phrases and mangling them. The downward slide and crunchiness at the very end are from the sound the Dreadbox Nymphes makes when you run the tuning procedure, which needs to be done every so often otherwise the whole thing slowly goes out of tune. It definitely added a kind of chaotic element that informed the decision making around the rest of the piece.
