A few birds from Glen Davis (NSW, Australia) in there thanks to my brother.

A nice wash of sound to float away to.  Not sure if I heard the birds, but I think that's a cool touch.

beautiful pulsating drones. I feel like hearing a mouth-harp indeed.

Heh, I don’t normally lean towards writing in a major key, but the harmonica I used was in D Major so I just went for it. I tried the relative minor but it didn’t work for me. Thanks for listening. smile

There were more birds in earlier generations of this piece, but in this final version it’s pretty hard even for me to hear them anywhere other than at the very end. Glad you enjoyed it. smile

so pretty & floating

Life-affirming sound here, feels like time stands still, but the frozen action both mundane and warm (as far memories go).

I've been trying / struggling with short-form works because they always feel like they don't do enough or they don't do something at the correct pace to me. I'm sure I'll figure it out, but the pacing of this feels absolutely perfect to me, and I wanted to give props.

Smooth and peaceful. I can reach zen with this.

I feel like I'm flying and looking down over a glacier while listening to this one!

so beautiful: as if one layer of synth is like a base of ice, while another layer is like the steam rising off the ice. held this juxtaposition of solid vs. nebulous very nicely.
