Incoming Threat

My girlfriend had an early birthday present for me this week in the form of a Novation Circuit Mono Station (the beast was 50% off, who could resist?). So this week I made a (short) track featuring it in tandem with my beloved Deluge. I could finally get myself to experiment with a new workflow and include additional gear around the Deluge and well, it's great!

I could sequence notes directly on the Mono Station or on the Deluge and record the output in an audio track on the Deluge (I love being DAWless, not sure why).

Now I just need to find more space (and more AC adapters) and try to add more synth boxes in the mix to see if I can explore more diverse sounds (I might need to buy extra MIDI cables too).

Damn, this is some great classic synthwave / dark wave sound. Flavors of Kraftwerk, old Human League, and Gary Oldfield. What a great birthday present and girlfriend.  Any woman that knows her way around analog synth selections is a keeper in my book smile Love the sounds. Looking forward to hearing more. Thanks for your comment! Just to clarify, I saw the promotion on the synth and my girlfriend jumped on the occasion to make an awesome gift. Still she is definitely a keeper for a lot more reason!
Also it was a very early birthday gift, my birthday is at the end of May tongue
