Zener

An ambient piece that grows into more industrial in the latter half. Electric violin strikes again! The sequencer stuff is made mainly with analog gear, the pads and treatments are from Korg o1W/fd and Roland JD800. A bit rough and long, but so it is just like this past week smile

As described; and what an interesting trip it's been.

This track really evolves as it moves. The sequenced parts give some nice electronic continuity. By the middle, it's a totally different track. Great synth sounds and beat. You really like those beasty keyboards... that JD800 is a monster. Love all the crazy layers mounting in the second half. Epic end jam! I am not sure I can pick out the violin. Assuming it is highly effected. Downloading!

Exactly as advertised: progressional, rough, and long. I wouldn't've minded if the less eventful parts were a little more eventful though.

Indeed... as this year is my first time in WB, I have found this quite helpful. I have learned to make faster decisions and once again been reminded of the fact, that the time you put into a track does not always compare with the quality of the end result... right frame of mind seems to be the main ingredient for a success...

Thanks! I am glad you like it. The violin is the lead in the latter half, sounding a bit like a bendy buzzsaw smile  I indeed used a couple of pedals (fuzz and harmonizer) to mask the lack of competence...

Thanks! I will probably will work on this later... could indeed have some more details, especially during the first half...
