Ichtyo

An ambient piece with light rhythms. The main piece of gear is Nanostudio for Ipad... the flutey pads are Korg O1W/fd and Blofeld. A few lines added with Moog Voyager. Rather peaceful jam and teteers between major and minor key.

Very cool ambiance, the whole thing has a chilled out, floaty feel to it. Love that bass melody towards the middle. Really enjoyable to listen to, nice work.

Lots of interest going on here. Love the restraint.

Yeah some really nice sounds on display here.  It gave me the image of going on an expedition to some sort of underwater wonderland.  Very nice.

Ah yes, what I like to call the Metroid sweeps, probably unfairly so. Very nice altogether.

Bloody delicious... inspiring ... I love it

Thanks for your kind words, all of you! Yes, that restraint thing is something I think I could use more often... strangely I find it harder when making music alone compared to a band effort. Perhaps there´s some element of "I need to do something here, otherwise it will sound empty". In a band situation I find it easier to let things build up for a moment.

Good palette of sounds for the compo. The breathy flute synth ties it together well. Clever use of major and minors mixing together seamlessly.
