Ganymedes

a real retro track with 70´s elements blending with more abrasive textures of the latter decades. The gear is mainly analog, with Korg ES-1 providing the beats and Korg Wavestation doing some of the ambience. The synth leads are by my secret weapon, Kawai 100P. It´s an old preset synth, but has nice aftertouch featurse and just the right things you can tweak a little. Very handy thing and still can be found cheaply with some luck. It is actually the largerly the same thing as Arp Pro Soloist. Some circuits are actually straight clones (with permission) of Arp´s.

Nice groove and the leads are definitely scorching.  That's a nice secret weapon to have.

The leads might be the ace in the hole, but that bass and the vox are definitely great supports.

Thanks guys! I personally listened to this properly only after uploadong it here. I agree about your comments, but the whole sound picture is to me much more chaotic than i meant originally.  There's potential, but basically There's too much going on. I made a more thoughtful mix as an afterthought and i weeded almost half of the stuff away in places. Much more coherent that way...i put it somewhere for you to listen to if you want to compare, in the near future. For me personally, a hurry and insecurity about the mix generally seems to result in the inability to choose and i seem to leave everything in! smile
