Roar

Pfff.
I almost completed the track in the first ten hours of this week and was somewhat satisfied with the results; even got me dancing on it in the living room.
I exported it to listen to it while commuting and noticed the rather roaring bassline sounded quite different.
So, when I got home, I booted up the project and noticed that the settings in Ableton's Roar plugin had changed.
Sadly, I didn't know precisely what changed because it sounded different.

So far, Ableton 12 has been less than excellent for me.

I kept trying to change settings, turn knobs and values, and disable and enable plugins and audio effects. Still, nothing made it sound like the unfinished and unpolished version I ended the day with.
In the end, I decided to try and redo the whole bassline; it's close... but no matter what I tried, it never gave me the same feeling I had that made me jump out of my chair and dance to it.

oh well, here's "Roar".
