< tends to use Ovox voice synth for weird reasons.
< finds a bizarre bug in Ovox, and due to my work habit; makes an extensive bug report, including video and repro steps.
> gets asked to try a demo version of the new version of Ovox.
< finds it odd that they don't do it themselves as they have the full version available themselves, and all they have to do is load up the project I send along with the bug report, but I'm patient and --generally-- a nice fellow, so why not?
< find out that the demo version refuses to work as long as I have the older full version installed.
< finds out there is no way through the Waves Central app to uninstall one plugin; it's either all or none.
< first try to delete the full version.
< reinstalls the demo, but the Waves Central app installs the old full version instead.
< caves and uninstalls all the plugins I own from Waves.
< installs the demo version of Ovox.
< Ovox demo works, but same bug.
< reports.
< uninstalls Ovox Demo, reinstalls all the plugins.
note: the Ovox demo stops audio every 20 seconds.
< my full version of Ovox now stops audio every 20 seconds.
< uninstalled and reinstalled all the plugins a few times.
< the same issue persists.
< roll back my software. (my drives are always backed up due to my work, version control ftw)
< issue persists, Ovox craps out.
< goes: "fook it" *throws random sh!t at the project to finish it*.
and, that's how we got here.
