I... I Love you...

I only had a few hours today to make something, mainly because I am still recovering from sleep deprivation due to tinnitus. I knew I wanted to do something with a weird beat and pick a random sample from the 70k-ish samples I have collected by now. It ended up being an odd rattle. Also felt it needed a vocal and remembered I used an "I Love You" sample a while back.

Queue a lot of lfo's and pads, which turned into this.

Sounds great, love all the pads and the rattle is pretty interesting too! This has a cool kinda dark ambience that I really like - nice track!

The beat starts in a kind of a shy way but is very welcome! It's a cool juxtaposition with the slow spacy pads. And the way the sample says the words is not saccharine but rather there's some complex/painful undertones. That makes the dark music work very well with it.
