A pretty typical EDM track but I tried to use a few things I learned:
a. There's apparently scientific research that shows that the most enjoyable chord progression for an uplifting trance song is "ABCD-BCDB" (where each letter is a chord but not like "A"). So I did that.
b. I tried adding a few grace notes that were off the scale.
c. I've tried increasing tension-release by doing a few call-and-responses. I didn't really do that much here but there's a little.
d. I did a bunch of stuff with pedal tones just to fill in the frequency spectrum.
