A Shot of Coffee
===
I haven’t been spacing out my music-making enough lately.
This week, I practiced using suspended chords (Thanks to this video by Michael Putluk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9n5HSERGvAQ).
Will try to utilize this more over the weeks and make it ingrained.
As I mentioned, a few weeks ago I managed to acquire more gear, which meant that I needed more gear to support my gear (funny how that works). I’ve been spending a lot of time trying to incorporate new stuff in to the music as well as just getting used to changes in workflow.

Wednesday, Aug 10. 20:55 - 22:10. I got a new audio interface, so this might change my workflow a bit. As a result, I think I’m going to just kind of wing the song and see how the new workflow goes.
Thursday, Aug 11. 20:40 - 21:00. Fixing some of my synth sounds, but I still don’t really know what I want this song to be. I’m thinking something intense and bass heavy here.
Saturday, Aug 13. 17:20 - 17:50.
Sunday, Aug 14, 10:30 - 12:30. I’m really behind this week. I haven’t had a chance to really lay out a track and it’s the end of the week. I watched a video recently on suspended chords so now I want to play with them. I didn’t have much of a song before this so starting sections over may not be the worst thing.
13:40 - 15:20. Finish. DIdn’t feel like doing a second verse since I’m low on time.
Total time: 5h 40m, most of the time was spent on it today.
