A Lama Darkly

By Arākos on January 11, 2026 4:36 pm

A weird little Drum'n'Bass track with a singing lama.

Created on Dirtywave M8, with a bit of mixing in Ableton (mainly drum buss) and mastering in Ozone (nothing fancy, just riding presets tbh).

Samples are from Polyend Palettes, the Delay Lama sound is based on a preset in Mikey's Rave Pack on M8.

This goes so HARD smile excellent work as always (and dope use of the Delay Lama sample)!

Oh yeah. This is excellent! Great use of the vocals in this as a center piece while also being really well mixed. The melodic pieces you are playing with here are also really nicely done.

Awesome track!

I felt that. Love the title too

woops

This is great! Which version of Ozone are you using? Mastering is definitely a growth edge for me so I rely pretty heavily on Ozone, too! smile

Cool breakage (and lamage)

I just got Ozone 12 in their sale at the end of last year. This is the first track I've used it on, so… not exactly an expert lol
