Ryludra Crisis - Stage 1 - Colonial Space Scene

Been working on a mock Famicom side scrolling space shooter soundtrack for my portfolio.  Here's Stage 1 from "Ryludra Crisis".  It should remind you of the first stages of space shooters- a bit easy, maybe a couple small things to dodge, lots of slow moving enemies and tons of power-ups.

Done with Famitracker using 2a03 only, no DPCM.

Nice work on the composition!

really captures that shooter feel. in some of the sections i feel the low pulse muddled the track up a bit. Specifically at the beginning of the track. a very catchy song non the less though!

@2player I'm actually glad for the feedback on this stuff.  I feel like in chip music, there's so many people who just say they like stuff.  It's great that you're providing specific feedback.

How exactly does the pulse muddle the track?  Is it that maybe I should have left the higher pulse to "sparkle" on it's own and the low pulse just sounds like it's kind of "invading" the moment?  I've since actually messed around with it.  Without that low pulse, there's "space" at the beginning which is kind of nice actually!
