I also felt those Depeche Mode vibes like Mission Crossing mentioned . Really dig the song and your singing conveys the vibe you were going for.

And yeah, singing is tough, especially if you don't do it often enough. For me if I plan on doing vocals I try to start as early in the week as possible because I have to get a LOT of bad takes out of the way before Sunday haha.
