Week 2

By Anon_Buster on January 16, 2022 10:44 pm

Work has been busy with people out sick, so I have been staying late to complete tasks. It's been stressful trying to catch up on my work after covering a store all day, and hard to want to make music. With me having to reset my computer and reinstall all my software over the span of five days, I finally got all of my software and a backup image saved. I forced out this track, what was supposed to be a percussion track with just a synth, in a couple of hours before time ran out for submissions to be uploaded.

It sounds like you had a hard week! It's crazy to see so many people sick now (my colleagues in the US, in the Philippines, etc). Stay safe! Good to put out a track, it does not have to be perfect!

Nice work pushing out a track under all the stress, man. It's not easy, but it's cool you were able to dig down and find some creativity to submit. smile

Sorry to hear about your work and computer troubles.  Not bad for a forced track, lots of cool synth sounds in here.

That's rough having a week like that in just week 2, but good job soldiering on getting something done.  It's short and sweet, but very pleasant sounding.  Hope next week goes better for you.

a sunny kinda lovely! smile

I would take this as my favorite christmassong this year. OK?

I feel ya on that rough week, especially the computer reinstallation process.  Just went through something similar when I tried to upgrade to a new OS.  A few headaches later I think I'm finally "updated" smile  All that matters though is you pushed through the week and produced a nice calming track smile

Ah. Windows 11? The infamous "upgrade" that works well enough that you doubt the need to do a fresh install, but eventually has enough bugs that you decide to wipe the system and start anew.

It really feels the mood somehow, strained, tired, but satisfied.

Oh no it was from High Sierra to Big Sur on MacOS.  Which for me was a big jump.  So far so good *fingers crossed* smile
