Week 12 - Beet Boot

More Chip focus but with the knowledge of drums and synthesizers. This is a track where I learned a lot about synthesizers (Pigments and Sytrus), how to make sounds and make them work together without overshadowing one another, and how to control volume and EQ to create dynamics and space in a track. I practiced how to automate volume (or alter velocities) and use low pass filters. This track ends where another track begins, so some sounds and phrases at the end of this track go to the next one's intro.

Damn, that middle section is amazing. That layering is fantastic.

Yeah man, that middle section is really awesome.

Really cool track and enjoyed the interplay between the kick/snare and main melody.  Nice use of those low pass filters to segway in and out.  That middle section synth has an awesome sound too.
