Trying

Lately, songs have been hard to make as I convolute the writing process. While sitting at my desk Friday, I heard the speakers flare up with music from the closest department, a few hundred yards away. I figured I might try to imitate the song structure, since I don't have a good grasp of structuring music. After listening to how each instrument was introduced (and how the same 1 bassline and 2 drum parts that played throughout the entire song) I started learning structure. This is my post-Usher "Baby Tonight," track. I never thought he'd be inspiration for anything in my life.

Neat major-key thing going on here!  Very uplifting!

Such a great structure, too. Sounds like a good learning experience, for everyone.

This is something I've been thinking of doing myself, because structure feels like a mystery to me still. It's really inspiring to listen to the results when someone actually does it. Enjoyed this a lot. smile
