when do we know

lyrics came to mind all at once as I was messaging with a friend of mine with some life updates.
being homesick since the move has been exhausting - I've never felt an emotion so strong before, that I just can't seem to shake no matter what. We are just trying to go with the flow and see where life takes us. We are stuck in this cycle of not knowing what we're doing / where we're going. Sometimes not knowing can feel so unsettling, but then I remind myself to just focus on the little joys - like sitting with our dog by the river, feeling the sunshine, looking at the mountains against a blue sky. It's all gonna be okay!

spring has partially sprung
we're just rolling with the punches til we're done
like a thumb that is slammed in a door
done, like we just can't take anymore.

when does the growing up stop, and we're just grown?
when does the wondering stop, and we just know? (2x)

spring has partially sprung
we're sitting by the river with our dog
and its all gonna be alright
just sip on our coffee, look up at the sky.

wisdom from my dad:

"life is a mystery to be lived not a problem to be solved"

why does it feel like a puzzle then?  still feels like it to me smile

wisdom from john hughes:

we're there in spirit sittin by the river with you sharin' coffee

it's all gonna be allright heart

Love the vocals again this week. You've got a really great voice and again I love the tasteful distorted guitar accenting after the verses.

This is beautiful.

feeling this, friend. thank you  heart

It's beautiful, and morose, much like life sometimes.
