Palliative - My Own Grave (Synthwave Instrumental Mix)

By angellis on April 17, 2022 10:29 am

I recently decided to try out Steven Slate Drums. I've been a big user of Battery, Addictive Drums & the Ableton Drum Sampler. Was looking for something that had a good engine and the ability to load custom sounds in. So far, it feels easy to program and responds well when using the spd-s.

This track is based off one of  the songs I'll be releasing with my darkwave/synthpop act "Palliative". This is very different in style, but also has a lot of the same aspects. Its still fairly rudimentary and the drums are a tad loopy/sloppy but you get the idea.

Really fun track. I like the lead synth simple melody.

Feels very alive somehow.

Thanks. I really like the melody. Simple is my motto in life, even if its accidentally j/k

Yeah I think the articulation in SSD works pretty well in making it more human.
