Plot twist this week! Structure and chord changes, haha. I was making this song on my multitrack recorder, but then ended up doing it on the m8 (which is usually the opposite of what happens).

I like how it came out on the m8, but I plan to make a "live" version of is still, once I have time to work out the lyrics a bit more.

The song is about how I hate people telling you to smile - you might be able to "hear" it in the pre-chorus "Why don't you smile more?". I'll try and post up the lyrics I have so far when I have a chance.

Not sure if you uploaded the right file, there's no vocals here and so no lyrics!

It's a nice spy-like bluesy riff in any case, if somewhat short.

Thanks! Despite having spent some extra time on a song this week, I still scrambled to upload it at the last minute and jumbled the description a bit, haha.

I was trying to say that I had an early version with lyrics/guitar, but ended up not finishing it there, but on the m8 (and the lyrics didn't make it over either, though I think it would sound rad with some vocoder vocals on this track). I haven't had a chance to copy the original lyrics into the description, which the melody still kind of tracks.

"It all makes sense in my. head", haha.
