You could try? I'd get very scared of say.. less that 24 tracks on the DAW...

If there is one thing I'm always proud of is being able to consistently name tracks

Less than 24 isn't harsh, it's downright cruel. I mean something more music theory based, like a pentatonic scale, 60bpm and 19/8 signature (those are fairly lenient, all things considered, but it'd be something like that).
