Cults of Symmetry I and II

By alonemusic on December 18, 2022 9:44 pm

OK! Here we go.
I'm heading out of the country for 3 weeks. "Oh no" I thought, how do I weekly beat without a guitar and my synths.

Well this is the answer.

This is biggest thing I've ever done, a three act, multipart, kinda.. instrumental.. musical?

Either way, its a journey that I hope you come with me on. This, and the next two tracks were all written together and by the end of the year we will have one long (and its lonnng) track. I was thinkign about how by telling you "this is all linked, these are the titles, here is some art" along side the music, it would hopefully make a narrative that is unique to you, but I at least have shaped and directed a little.. I don;t know.. we'll see how it all ends up! smile

So, this track is parts I and II.

CULTS OF SYMMETRY

I. A Cure for Old Gods
II. Brainstorming the Impossible

And of course... Art

It's beautiful~
That reminds me, I ought to work on that opera ordering for this, we lost track of that, it might've been about a cult, so this would fit really well

Nope, that was 2018, this year is robots I believe, but it might work as a way to bring that bit back

Love it, way to end the year in the proggiest way possible tongue. Love that you have the one-two punch of awesome music and awesome artwork as well. Assuming that II. Brainstorming the Impossible starts when the heavy guitars kick in, that section was pretty rad.
