Oh hello there, fancy seeing you here.
It's been a while, after finishing WB2018 I was pretty burnt out.. brain *thought* about doing 2020, but even before it all went a bit shit, I was already in big nope mode. But hey, I feel a bit recharged. I've also got a ton of new things I wanna learn, but also my laptop is on the verge of going kaput.. Are these excuses? Maybe, but what they hey, I'm here now. I really gave it my all in 2016 and 2018, I don't know if I can do that again, but I'm here to find out.

On with the track! As mentioned, things seem to be breaking... I couldn't run any of my old guitar plugins without loaaadsss of clicks and pops.. so this is mostly my NES, GBA, a few bits of odd hardware like a Pocket Operator and some of bits. Also I had to remember how notes and chords work, so this is a bit of a warm up! Enjoy, it was fun heart

beautiful!

I love the unique roughness and freshness!

Eyyyy, good to see you again.

New Alone always uplifting. heart

nice effect with the repeating notes in the arpeggio

Awesome man, love the energy!

Love the upbeat groove of this.  That excellent NES sound gives me some fun side scroller images smile  I like how all of the melodies and instruments build to a crescendo and release with that bach-like arpy synth.  Super cool chord progression!  Nice work!

I dig the production

Welcome back, mr. Music, I really missed you in 2020, so it's nice to see you again

I still haven't quite figured out the track list of 2018, but I got most of it (I made it a story about a cult and a sequel of 2016), maybe I can do it again this year

True, they're a huge help in the storytelling aspect.

WHOA great to see you again!  Missed you last year and your awesome track artwork.

love the all the odds and ends thrown in here.  Nice variety

eyy nice stuff! I like how you play with some sweeps and stuff. It's not particularly my style of music but I dig the playfulness and how the track develops
