All Good Caring Things

Happy Halloween!
This track was a monster to try to mix. Not sure what is going on, but I'm just struggling with my setup. Bouncing tracks together resolved most issues. The track itself felt a bit off kilter, but a few parts came together quite well, but it was certainly a tough one to get over the line.
Had me thinking about what is really important when working on ideas (I went outside and stood under a tree as it hammered with rain) when doing weekly tracks, or tracks in general. I used to be very much 'I've done this, I must simply do something else at all costs. Now? I guess I think if an idea is good, its probably worth trying it a few times, in different tracks, in other places until it fits, or its at least fully rounded.

Anyway, that musing was mostly brought to you by me thinking 'well, at least the track is finished' but also thinking 'gee I wish I could just try that again to see where I end up' And.. yeah.. Then I carried on and got coffee.
ART

I know how you feel.  I feel like some of my best work was "writing the same song 20 times" and the 20th version was amazing, somehow.

2:30 build up was good, i kinda wanted some double time drums at 3:55 for the comeback?  maybe?

glad you got coffee though smile

To be fair, there can only be so many ideas, so revisiting something isn't bad, one could say it's an idea all its own.
Love your work, feels vaguely familiar, but you definitely got the new angle.
