A Wonderful End of the World

By alonemusic on April 22, 2016 9:56 pm

Well, I got finished in record time (friday night) this week as I'm off on holiday to Iceland for a few days.

I tried to take some of the ideas from last weeks track and expand them into something more melodic and also work on some more interesting drums. For some reason my trying to be happy-go-lucky resulted in a track that (to me) is actually kinda sad. I've been watching space documentaries on Netflix (Wonders of the Universe/Life) and the beautiful decent into disorder is kinda inspiring.

I thought the name was clever, then I found out it was the same as a PC Katamari rip-off.. boo

To be fair, the game is called the wonderful end of the world, and it's unfortunately probably the only katamari-like game we'll get on PC for a while.

Everything is happysad in here. Very much liked.

I love the original katamari, then the last one I played was the Vita one, it was still great, but I think the magic has kinda gone. I loved Noby Noby Boy tho...
