Thawing Acid

Things have melted but it’s still not that warm.

After last week’s cable quagmire, I was able to bring more of the gang together and have had time to inject some variation into a new song.

Was able to make a nice Cascadia patch that lent itself well to solo noodling, One trick i learned is to have single trigger envelopes to remove some articulation to allow for more natural sounding lines.

Still working on 303 levels across the track especially when resonance is up — Boosting low end but then managing how it sits with the BD. Also, next time even more restraint.

this 303 is sounding FAT

wow those gentle pitch bends are so tasteful and expertly done.  this is sick, and really evokes something melting.

great melody line at 4:40 (yes i listened to the whole thing and vibed the whole time)

Thank you! I'm a late owner of a hardware 303-like but am a big believer now. it's an inspiring instrument.
