Unexpected Turn

Here's a return to the types of tracks I was doing at the beginning of this year featuring sax (GeoSwam Tenor Sax on the iPad), electric guitar, bass, keys and drums. Not much to say about it other than it was an interesting "subtractive" process - to borrow the term from the synthesis. I mentioned it before that I tend to play too much on every instrument and this is something I'm still working on. I had the same impression after improvising all the tracks so I stood by and removed bits from them here and there according to what sounded best. I think it's an interesting way of getting something nice: just go without thinking too much of the end result, get as much output as you can then remove parts.
