For my next epic track try I worked on getting a better brass section by making tiny adjustments of note starting points as well as listening more closely to how layering improves the sound. I really like how Spitfire's BBC Core Orchestra and Hollywood Orchestra "collaborate" in this section of the orchestra, given than many complained about the former's brass being to mellow. EW brings it just enough bite. The choir layering isn't as good since I'm still trying to make them sound like words and there are some minute pan and delay issues. Getting there.

I actually really enjoy the choir the little stabs of strings.

I'm looking into introducing some choir to my tracks, too. What are you using? It sounds properly menacing and ominous!

Thnaks! Usually depending on what I need I blend between East West Hollywood Choirs (which are epic but the transitions are a bit dodgy sometimes), 8Dio Insolidus (kinda the opposite, softer sounding but great arcs) and AudioBro's Eternity - this one is the workhorse, good all around but also you have to get used to how it works.
