Mood of Pan

By Aletheia on November 29, 2020 10:57 pm

This week is another study of combining a folk instrument (pan flute) with melodic ambient / electronic textures. I recorded a slowly morphing chord-line on a synth alongside with short melody notes from another (Continua and LaGrange). Over these I played a bass line using my fretless and then I improvised over the first part of the song with a pan flute. In the second part there is a counter-line with a lead patch (the name Mood should give more than enough hints smile ) and a little rhythm. It's a more optimistic piece in the key of A major.
